Crazy for cupcakes!
There’s nothing harder than to sit down and write these little bios about yourself! Forgive me if this is boring, but it’s hard to talk about myself…
I’m a totally right side of the brain kind of girl – excelling and loving all things creative and falling flat when it comes to things like math! From writing, cross-stitching, and random craft ideas, I’ve been creating since a little girl. I use to fancy myself as a writer, but it wasn’t visual enough for me. Photography became my new love, but this isn’t about my photography, now is it?
Rewind to 2005. I had a very large desire to learn how to sew. I loove “raver” (super wide leg) pants, and couldn’t find any in stores. Armed with my first credit card and McCall’s 2360 i got my first sewing machine at Wal-Mart of all places and began to teach myself how to sew.
It’s now September 2007 and I’m, dieing to see what I can do with my sewing. Along the way I’ve taught myself how to knit, crochet, and I’m learning jewelry making. Photography is still my main love in life, but sewing comes in a very close second. (I have to learn how to take awesome pictures of my creations, right?)
This is a totally new experience for me, and I’m glad you’ve decided to take this journey with me!
I need to learn how to sew my own uniforms. I’m a cna. The simple ones first. Then I will move on to some thing fancy. I don’t have a sewing machine yet but it will be a cheap one. Hope I will be able to teach myself.
